Daily Dose of Nature

Flowers and Herb Magic – Part 4

Plants are one of the most natural and versatile ingredients in magic working. Use them fresh on altars, dried in charm bags or to bring magic to your cooking.

Magical Scents

Aromatherapy oils and scented or anointed candles are both common spell ingredients. By using the scents of the flowers and herbs, you help to create a spiritual atmosphere that will make your mood more suited to working magic. As you become better practised at using your aromatherapy products in spells and rituals., you will soon appreciate what effect different scents can have. Again, it is worth recording the benefits you find from a variety of plant essences to help you with future spells.

Sense of Smell

Smell is your most evocative sense, acting as a trigger to bring memories to the surface. Therefore, when you use a scent that has helped you in the past, it can remind you of the positive effects your spells can achieve. This will help to reinforce spells, that you cast in the future.

You can use the essences of flowers and herbs to create a mood suitable for working magic.
