    • Yes it is most effective. If you have blackheads, you should consider using sulfur since it works as a drying agent. Although clearing your skin dry extensively can actually cause inflammation and irritation, this can lead to more acne. Sulfur helps to clear excess sebum and in clearing out skin cells that are dead. This has the potential of breaking dead skin cells and sebum that prevents the skin through pore blockage.

I have suffered from acne for over thirty years. I have tried things I am to embarrassed to mention, but this soap has worked wonders. I love it.

  1. Nice post on acne treatment – I am adding tea tree oil to my list.
In the past, I have also found that digestion is linked to skin breakouts. Fixing digestion has helped get rid of the same. Perhaps not acne per se but breakouts in general.

    • Ah yes, improper digestion is related to acne. The first step is looking at what you eat. Diets high in sugar, trans and ‘bad’ fats, and highly processed foods don’t feed the body quite right. How well does your car run on contaminated fuel? Similarly, an imbalanced diet can create imbalances within the body. Acne is one symptom of this. Since everyone’s body is different, your optimal diet will be specific to you.
