Hair loss is also known as alopaecia and baldness, which happens in men, women and children. Over a 1,00,000 of terminal hairs adorn the scalp area of adults in both genders. Each of these hairs retains its own identity throughout the person’s lifetime. In practical terms, this means that each individual hair on scalp grows according to its own schedule, rather than a single schedule affecting the entire head of hair. Here’s a list of nutrients with their sources that can help in reversing excessive hairfall: Vitamin A: It helps in hair cell growth. Include pumpkin, carrots, sweet potato, spinach, milk or yoghurt.
