Glad you like the information. The only role that antioxidants like acai may play in obesity is in helping combat the low-grade inflammation that is often associated with obesity, but they will not help you lose weight and any antioxidant rich, nutrient-dense food will do the same.

Acai berries have been called a superfood, with benefits ranging from improved skin appearance to weight loss, but not all of these claims are supported by evidence. However, It is the total diet or overall eating pattern that is most important in disease prevention and achieving good health. It is better to eat a diet with variety than to concentrate on individual foods as the key to good health. Glad you liked the post.
