Benefits of Personal Trainer Part 2

Why would you hire a personal trainer or a coach? Isn’t that for pros and wannabe athletes? Not necessarily – the benefits of personal training extend beyond super goal-oriented athletes. Whether you’re someone who is just starting their fitness journey or a seasoned gym goer/recreational athlete with a solid fitness level, having a personal trainer or a coach can help you meet your fitness goals faster, safer and more effectively– or gain better results or simply learn to enjoy exercise more than you ever thought was possible. The benefits of personal training can be endless.

Here are few benefits of personal trainer :

  • Efficient Workouts – Many of us waste time at the gym checking our phones, talking to friends or doing exercises that don’t help us move towards our health and fitness goals. A personal trainer will ensure that your workouts are efficient and full tailored towards your goals, allowing you to get the best possible results in the shortest amount of time.
  • Safe Workouts – When you’re training on your own, there’s always a risk that you’re performing the exercise incorrectly. In addition to this, there are many exercises that are safer with the assistance of a spotter. A personal trainer will be able to show you how to perform all your exercises safely and correctly. They will also be able to observe your form and correct any mistakes you make. Finally, they will be able to spot you as you workout and provide any assistance where needed.
  • Personalised Fitness Advice – One unique benefit of getting a personal trainer is that they’ll be able to give fitness advice that’s tailored to you. They’ll closely monitor how each area of your body responds to your workout routine and if any of the exercises aren’t working, they’ll adapt your routine until your routine until you have the perfect personalised training plan.
  • Improved Fitness Knowledge – Another great thing about getting a personal trainer is that you’ll learn from them and develop your now fitness knowledge. You can then use this knowledge when you’re away from them to accelerate your results.
  • Rapid Results – One final benefit of personal trainers is that they’ll help you achieve your health and fitness goals in the fastest time possible. They can help you pack on muscle, blast through body fat and more at a speed that wouldn’t be possible on your own.

A trainer can help you figure out if your goals are realistic. Help you stay motivated: Knowing you have an appointment with a pro can help you maintain motivation to exercise during the week. Push you a little harder: People often don’t see results because they’re not working as hard as they could.

Good points, I find that they’re great for accountability as well (you might have listed it already in part 1).

Yes Accountability is an important factor. Working with a personal trainer certainly has its advantages. As a client, you’ll receive exercise recommendations that are specific to your goals, help on form and ensuring you’re performing exercises correctly, and, also guidance on what to eat. However, there’s something else that a personal trainer provides that might be even more important than all of these things: accountability. Many of those that lose sight of their weight loss and fitness goals do so because they aren’t held accountable. You have a lot of momentum and motivation at first, but it slowly starts to fade. Life happens. It’s cold out, you get sick, you aren’t seeing results fast enough, and before you know it, you’ve given up. Here are some reasons why hiring a personal trainer might help you reach your goals:
