Coconut, Cocos nucifera L., is a tree that is cultivated for its multiple utilities, mainly for its nutritional and medicinal values. It is the unique source of various natural products for the development of medicines against various diseases and also for the development of industrial products.       Originally, coconuts grew in the southwestern Pacific, but today they grow extensively around the tropics. Coconut palm’s only limitations are freezing temperatures, flooded soil and drought.

  4. Coconuts are one of the main crops of my State. Coconuts play a very important role in our day to day existence. There is a beautiful picture of the coconut tree growing in by backyard but I do not see hoe I can post it here.

    We’re cookoo for coconuts, right? It’s pretty awesome to think God dropped bananas & coconuts on little islands with enough good stuff to keep people alive. It all sounds goood.
