When we are feeling good, Source Energy is flowing through us, as a feeling of well-being. When we are not feeling good, we have pinched off the flow, creating imbalance. If we pinch it off often enough and long enough, we become so out of balance that the body shows this imbalance as dis-ease.

You can pinch off the negative energy by paying attention to your own personal Emotional Guidance System. The point isn’t necessarily to jump from hatred to joy on the drop of a dime.  The point is to be aware of our feelings and emotions.  The point is to constantly be moving up the scale towards a positive feeling emotion.

Each level on the scale is a temporary state, but you do have the ability to maintain a certain state.  For example, things may happen in your life you may deem unfavourable which may drop your mindset from cheerful to contented, and then discouraged by the end.  However, you have the power to choose your emotions, regardless of what is happening about you.  Everything is all about perception and what you make of it.  If you don’t like something, change it.  If you can’t change it, change the way you think about it.

So which side of the emotional scale are you on today?

  1. I was on the upside today…It started kind of bad(actually, just a little disturbing) however, it quickly got better and better as the day moved along. When something negative is happening, I try to find some part of it that is positive. This helps, if the given situation can be turned like that. If not, I try to look forward to a new hour, day or whatever it takes to move forward.

  2. Great post! I loved these lines: “If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change the way you think about it.” Though we all agree with these but we often forget it at times when we need to remember them. Thanks for the reminder 🙂
