Focus on the progress rather than the pain. Remember the first time you started walking on your own? Did you start running all at once? You didn’t, and that’s what life is all about! You should focus on the progress rather than the pain. You may have fallen numerous times while attempting to stand on your feet and walk. However, if you had focused solely on the number of times you had failed and the wounds you had received, you would most likely not be able to stand straight today. Similarly, whenever you begin doing something for the first time, make sure you are able to learn.
Instead of focusing solely on the pain, try to figure out why things did not go your way. Instead of complaining about your defeats or losses, try to figure out why things did not go as planned. Recognize that life is all about learning, and that you should always strive to improve each and every day.
Try to remember that life is the best teacher, and the lessons you learn from it will never be replaced. It will force you to learn from real-life experiences, and if you are fortunate enough, you will learn far more than everyone else from life’s methods of teaching you.

Thanks so much. Sometimes a dose of positivity in outlook is what is needed. You are so right about the running analogy โฆ

I needed this reminder just now. Every ‘failure’ is an opportunity to learn, to improve techniques or practice.
