  4. What about people who needs to avoid added sugar? Is honey can be eliminated or reduced from this drink?
    I add few cloves, one cardamom and ginger to my tea but no honey. Not sure if it helps in weight loss or not but, touch wood, have not gained a pound back during last two weeks of stay at home.😀

Magnesium is used in the regulation of glucose, insulin, and the neurotransmitter dopamine; a deficiency can manifest in the form of intense sugar cravings, especially for chocolate. Zinc is needed for proper insulin and glucose utilization; a deficiency can also lead to sugar cravings.

      1. I do not have any sugar craving. I have not used any sugar with my tea from 1988. But I won’t deny that I have / had a sweet tooth😀.
        But is honey any different from sugar as far as its impact on blood glucose is concerned?

      2. Because honey is a natural sugar and a carbohydrate, it’s only natural for it to affect your blood sugar in some way. When compared to table sugar, however, it appears that honey has a smaller effect.
