Daily Dose of Affirmations

Each day you can journey from your Alpha (it begins with you) to your Omega, which in the teachings of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, is the point within each of us where our inner spiritual nature meets our outer worldly nature.

It is with this thought I bring to you daily dose of affirmations for your mind and soul. An affirmation a day, keeps the therapist away!!! Here are your affirmation for today :

  • Opportunities and advantages come with each door that I open
  • The more I give to the world, the more I get
  • What I currently do is serving me towards my higher purpose
  • I have the power to change my thoughts in a second
  • I’m allowed to do what I want with my life
  • I have the power to change myself
  • I allow myself to play and enjoy life
  • I am making a difference in this world
  • I am at peace with all that has happened, is happening, and will happen
  • My life is just beginning
  • Today, I abandon my old habits and take up new, more positive ones
  • I’ve given up my bad habits and I’m so grateful for that
  • I am now free from my bad habits
  • I only do positive habits

Have a happy day ahead.

This is a good first step you have taken. On average, it takes more than 2 months before a new behavior becomes automatic — 66 days to be exact. And how long it takes a new habit to form can vary widely depending on the behavior, the person, and the circumstances. In Lally’s study, it took anywhere from 18 days to 254 days for people to form a new habit.

This is fantastic again, particularly ‘play and enjoy life’. I’ve not done enough of this lately and my MS is paying me back!

Sometimes our current state cannot be easily affected by daily positive affirmations but affirmations DEFINITELY do help! I try to remember to do daily affirmations and hearing them from our friends and family help a lot too. 😊
Admittedly, I do disagree about wanting to keep the therapist away because therapists can be a great resource for some many things, including understanding ourselves (how and why we are they way we are and aid in changing ourselves for the better) and/or processing past experiences. Thanks for the post and the info. Keep at it!
