Show Some Love

Sweet words to tell your lover are written all over your heart. Are you having a hard time getting those love things out of your mouth? Sometimes it is tough to find the words, even if you have warm fuzzies in your heart.

Here are few things you can do to show some love :

  • Express your love with words. Never underestimate the power of words. A simple “I love you” or “You are my World” is very often enough to show love and have your partner give you a loving hug.
  • Remind her/him that you care. One of the best ways to show love, is to show that you care. Compassion, understanding and support are very important ingredients for a successful relationship.
  • Keep the romance alive. One romantic evening with flowers and candies every month or two should be enough to remind your partner of the love surrounding the relationship. Give it a try.
  • Show interest at building a future together. The best way to prevent that is simply to show interest in the relationship and build something together. One must show seriousness about the relationship.
  • Experience new things together. Doing new things together can be very healthy for the couple and may also get them closer than ever. It brings new memories of great times together, nice pictures and videos to watch and share over and over.
  • Don’t be shy, hold hands. Sometimes, the little things are most effective ones. Holding hands while you’re in private or in public, shows love and affection to each other.

Show your love (your heart, your kindness, your vulnerability, your soul-shine) because it feels good. Give because the giving is what you get. In fact, if you have a hard time with self-love, start outside yourself and work your way in. Showing love to others can be a gateway for loving yourself.

Exactly! It feels great to give to others, especially your loved ones. Giving is a great way to spread love and kindness to many people. You’re right about that, too. We must often learn to love ourselves before we can truly love others. Reaching out to other people and showing them love can certainly be a big booster for self-esteem.

If we really want love the kind that lasts we must first hold our pride in what we do, not how we look. We must hold it in our ability to write beautiful words, or paint striking paintings, or explore creatively that for which we’re passionate. These are qualities a future date will remember. It won’t be the dress or the shoes or the shade of your lipstick. Trust me. It will be the passion in your voice.

I completely agree! To obtain a love that lasts, we must first take pride and value in our ourselves, along with the activities we do. We must also appreciate and respect the way we are. Then, others will be sure to do the same. Well said, once again!
