The Comfortable Choice Isn’t Always Right

on

You must take the time to sit down and consider whether you are truly in the position you desire. You must determine whether you are doing what you want or whether you are simply going wherever life takes you, even if it is in a direction you are not particularly enthusiastic about.

You never want to become so comfortable in a situation that you can’t get out of it. You never want to stop asking yourself if you’re truly happy with your life. You can’t just assume you’re on the right track without giving it some thought. Check in with yourself on a regular basis. Put as much effort into getting to know yourself as you do in forming relationships with others.

Remember that the most comfortable option isn’t always the best option for you. You must sometimes step outside of your comfort zone. Sometimes you have to take a risk on yourself, even if it’s scary and makes you uncomfortable. Yes, by taking the riskier option, you may lose something wonderful, but you may also gain something wonderful.

Ugh. This is where I am now. I decided in December I’m not living my own life … so slowly figuring out what it should be … what I want rather than fitting into everyone else’s mould. I’m breaking those molds and recasting myself. Scary but I’m trying (finally) to be true to me

Going with the flow is best I believe. I would say more if I am new any better ☺️
