Benefits of Flaxseeds

Flaxseed is one of the most important oilseed crops for industrial as well as food, feed, and fiber purposes. The seed provides oil rich in omega-3, digestible proteins, and lignans. The nutrients in flaxseed may help lower the risk of diabetes, cancer, and heart disease. Glad you have added them in your diet already.

    Flaxseeds also help in naturally curling your hair if you make a gel out of it and apply regularly on your damp hair and then scrunch.

      Fantastic. You are already taking the wonder-seed in your diet. Flaxseeds are rich in proteins. So, when you consume a teaspoon of flaxseeds, along with dietary fiber, the protein content suppresses your appetite. This prevents you from overeating, thereby helping you in losing weight. Flaxseeds are low in starch and sugar, hence they are not high on calories. This is my favourite benefit of flaxseed.
