You Will Be Misunderstood But Be Kind

The unfortunate reality is that no matter how good, kind, or gentle you are, there will always be people who want nothing more than to tear you down. In fact, the kinder or better you are as a person, the more people will want to misunderstand or harm you. The best people, you see, remind us of our own insecurities, our own flaws, our broken qualities. And we eagerly await their flaws so we can pounce on them and say, “You see? “I knew he/she was a shambles!”
