Can the color you wear really affect your mood? Research says yes; color can absolutely affect your mood, behavior and stress levels. 2. Yellow : It helps to release serotonin, causing a happy mood. But too much exposure causes fatigue. Yellow can speed up your metabolism. Babies cry more in yellow rooms. This colour evokes pleasant, cheerful feelings.
  3. Purple : It helps to develop spirituality and deep thoughts. Purple intensifies sexual activity. It causes frustration.
  4. Gray : Gray is unsettling. It creates expectations.
  5. White : It has a calming effect. It represents a successful beginning.

Choosing the color of your office, your clothes or your desktop should not be taken lightly — colors do affect our moods and productivity. However, colors are not the only thing that affects us — one can still be efficient in a grey suit or workout well in a black outfit. But, when given the choice, picking a color that will work with you, and not against you can only help.

    1. Red is the color of fire and blood, so it is associated with energy, war, danger, strength, power, determination as well as passion, desire, and love. Red is a very emotionally intense color. It has very high visibility, which is why stop signs, stoplights, and fire equipment are usually painted red.

  6. I love the color red. For me it tends to be empowering. Funny but when I think of brown, beige and sometimes white I tend to think of blandness or boredom. Certain shades of blue make me think of water and tranquility.
