Miracle Mornings

Wake up not only with the appreciation for a new day but wake up with intention.  Move through the day with purpose and certainty.  Our days are more than our to-do lists.  They’re more than addressing our physical needs or what beckons our immediate attention. Wake knowing that everything we need will come to us because we all deserve great blessings in our lives.  Having this consciousness will bring great blessings into our lives.

Here is a 6 step miracle morning challenge for you. However, there are a few prerequisites for the same :

  • Set your alarm clock 1 hour earlier.
  • Spend this time on self development.
  • Practice the 6 steps of miracle morning.
  • Divide your 60 minutes however you please.
  • Benefit the rest of the day from your miracle morning.

Here are the 6 steps :

  • Silence – Time for reflection, meditation, deep breathing or praying.
  • Affirmation – Room to develop and repeat your positive affirmation.
  • Visualisation – A moment to visualise your goals possibly with a vision board.
  • Exercise – Benefit mentally from physical exercise with a brief workout.
  • Reading – Develop your mind by reading a few pages from a self help book.
  • Scribing – Write down your thoughts by keeping and reviewing a journal.

  2. This is exactly what I would like to do with my mornings. I believe the majority of our physical movement should be done in the morning, because a) you have more energy in the morning, and b) evenings should be used for leisure and relaxation. And exercising done too late in the day, makes it harder for one to sleep. Thank you for sharing your insight. I enjoyed reading it. It really made me feel inspired.

      Glad you liked it Geeta. The idea is to create and strengthen the serenity that lies within you. Starting your day with a moment of silence is soothing. We all face many sources of stress on a daily basis: we might as well start with something positive and enjoyable by projecting ourselves positively into the present moment and expressing gratitude for the things we have. Meditation, prayer and breathing exercises in silence help us appreciate calmness. Morning silence reduces stress and enhances our ability to think and react to challenges.
