In a world of words, actions hold the key,
For they speak louder, as we all can see.
Love, a claim so easily professed,
Yet not all hearts are truly blessed.

Prioritize the way they make you feel,
Over words that may not be real.
When they say “I love you,” take a pause,
Look beyond, and seek the cause.

Actions can whisper, actions can shout,
Listen closely, don’t have any doubt.
When they claim to care but are never there,
Recognize the truth, be aware.

Understand the differences, my dear,
Let them sink in, crystal clear.
Internalize these lessons, make them your own,
Let your wisdom and strength be shown.

Empty promises, like fleeting winds they blow,
Don’t let them sway, don’t let them sow,
Seeds of doubt in your heart so true,
Hold on tight, let them not undo you.

Never settle for a love that feels cold,
A heart that’s vacant, a story untold.
You deserve warmth, love that’s true,
A place where your heart can bloom and renew.

So, dear reader, listen to your amygdala’s voice,
Let it guide you, make the right choice.
Actions speak louder than words, it’s clear,
Believe in yourself, have no fear.

Hope you liked the poem.
