Rewriting the Stars

In a world of possibilities, we ponder,
How can we rewrite the stars, I wonder?
But let me ask you this, my dear,
Can you say, “You’ll be mine,” without fear?

I still recall that magical night,
When you held my hand in the soft moonlight.
You draped your jacket over my shoulders,
Shielding me from winter’s icy smolders.

And oh, that cap upon my head,
You made me wear, and then you said,
“You look so cute, my darling dear,”
And playfully pinched my cheeks, I hear.

Those moments, etched in memories deep,
I hope you know, my love, I still keep.
And I hope you, too, remember them well,
The way our love story began to swell.

For know, my love, my heart remains true,
I’ll make you feel loved, I’ll make you feel wanted too.
No matter the challenges life may send,
Our love will endure, it will never bend.

So let us rewrite the stars together,
Creating a love that will last forever.
With every beat of our hearts, let it be known,
Our love is a masterpiece, all on its own.

Hope you liked the poem.

  1. The fear of “You’ll be mine” might be transformed by using the words, “we’ll be each other’s”.
