You’re about to embark on a ride of your life,
Breaking barriers, cutting through strife.
No walls can hold you, no boxes can contain,
You’re soaring high, free from any chain.
Jealous eyes may be watching from afar,
But don’t let them dim your shining star.
You’re not even aware, but it’s all okay,
Their negativity won’t block your way.
I’m here to tell you, don’t you worry,
Their jealousy won’t make you sorry.
You have a stable figure by your side,
Guiding you through, with a steady stride.
Your growth will only multiply,
As you receive blessings, abundance and supply.
What you’re creating is a thing of beauty,
A masterpiece, a work of art, a duty.
So keep going, don’t you stop,
For the world is waiting, from bottom to top.
You’re breaking out, and you’re on your way,
To a bright future, a new day.

Hey, Our brains are extremely sensitive to rhyme and rhythm in poetry. They can provide comfort and lift one’s spirits during times of stress, trauma, or grief. Its potent combination of words, metaphor, and metre allows us to express ourselves more effectively and make sense of the world and our place in it. With this in mind, I present a collection of coming-of-age poems that may inspire you to overcome life’s challenges and uncertainties. If you like my poems, do leave a review on Amazon.
