Quotes To Inspire

Life appears to have no meaning at times. We’re only here for a short time, and everyone has come with an expiration date. The one who is born will undoubtedly die one day. Why do we waste our lives chasing after things that don’t matter to us if we know we have a time limit?
Ask yourself a simple question: What am I willing to invest my life in? Put your heart, head, and soul into whatever answer you come up with.

A few quotes that have been extremely beneficial to me —

“Life’s ups and downs are critical to our survival because a straight line, even in an ECG, indicates that we are not alive.” Ratan Tata’s

“You have the right to perform your assigned duties, but you do not have the right to the fruits of your labour.” — Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 3.

Having a lot of money but no inner peace is like dying of thirst while swimming in the ocean.” Yogananda, Paramahansa

“Millions of people never examine themselves. They are mechanical products of their environment’s factory, preoccupied with breakfast, lunch, and dinner, working and sleeping, and going here and there for entertainment. They have no idea what they are looking for or why they never find complete happiness and lasting satisfaction. People continue to be robots conditioned by their environment by avoiding self-analysis. The greatest art of progress is true self-analysis.” Yogananda, Paramahansa

Raise your words rather than your voice. It is rain, not thunder, that causes flowers to bloom.” — Rumi

“How will your mirror be polished if you are irritated by every rub?” — Rumi

“Whoever plants trees, knowing he will never sit in their shade, has begun to understand the meaning of life.” Rabindranath Tagore

“Everything that belongs to us comes to us if we create the capacity to receive it.” Rabindranath Tagore

“ A lamp can only light another lamp if it is still burning in its own flame.” Tagore, Rabindranath

“Compound interest is the world’s eighth wonder. Whoever understands it earns it; whoever does not, pays for it.” — Albert Einstein

“Ardently do what needs to be done today. Who can say? Death will come tomorrow.” — Buddha Gautama

“Just as a solid rock is unaffected by a storm, the wise are unaffected by praise or blame.” — Buddha Gautama

“Our greatest ability as humans is to change ourselves, not the world.” Gandhi, MK

“Speak only when it improves on silence.” Gandhi, MK

“Honest disagreement is frequently a good indicator of progress.” Gandhi, MK
