One Day At A Time

on

Take each day as it comes in life.

It’s a message my grandfather used to give me when I was younger. Live each day as though it were your last. Live in the now. It’s advice that has gotten me through some challenging times in my path when I didn’t feel all that steady. In order to lay the groundwork for your ultimate good, you occasionally need to live your life minute by minute. However, the best course of action is to remain calm under pressure. We live from a place of authenticity and are centred in our hearts when we take each day as it comes, rather than looking five steps forward and ten years back.

I constantly let people know that I am aware of the purpose behind my grandfather’s lengthy life. He was extremely wise, therefore that’s why. It was not ill health that caused him to pass away. His weakened body was simply unable to recover from a fall, which was the only cause of it. He was cognitively as bright as ever and continued to exercise every day. When he did, it appeared as though he had made the decision to depart from Earth. I’m still going through life day by day on the route I’m on. Although it hasn’t always been simple, it has given me the most opportunity for development and the ability to be the happiest I’ve ever been.

I once made plans and lived by them, but the plans themselves never came to pass. It’s possible that you once had a plan, but it doesn’t work for you now, given where you are. We only have the here and now. The truth is there, after all. You will move in the proper path based on how you are currently feeling and acting. Don’t try to overthink things; doing so will just make you feel anxious and fearful all the time. Allow yourself to be led by your intuition, that inner voice that doesn’t always make logical sense but can occasionally be just as persuasive as logic.

Yes, we all trip and fall multiple times along the path. Nice when there is someone there to help. The memory then helps you the next time when you are alone.

Agreed. We can only grasp the experience that we have had; we can only see the same experience in others, but not the experience that we lack. In other words, we can only see what we have seen.

Certitude is not my forte, maybe that will come for me when I see the unseen and hear the unheard,
    I hope
