I Hope You Choose Happiness Even When You’re Brokenhearted

You always have the option to choose happiness, no matter the burden you have when you get up. Peace is always an option. Find a morning habit that roots you and helps you centre your thoughts. Thank your body for keeping your bones together despite all of your atoms telling you to collapse. Thank your mind for being so adaptable and capable of overcoming all the challenges life has thrown at you. Even though it doesn’t feel like it now, the resilience you’ve developed through each obstacle and loss will eventually start to show. From every atom of your being, it will erupt. Until you see it, you won’t believe it. When you find joy in other people’s happiness, you’ll know it.
You won’t longer feel jealous of the happiness, love, or freedom of others. You will also have freedom. Learn to be patient and gentle to yourself because the path to this point might be lengthy and winding. Make the decision to live a happy, loving, and compassionate life for everyone around you. Make the decision to treat yourself similarly. When you develop into the best version of yourself, you attract the best for yourself.
I don’t divulge much of my personal life but this post deserves some. I came back to finding a home in my own heart and surprising myself with my own power as a result of the bittersweet end of my relationship. I fully understood the strength of my resolve today as I came across a loving couple out in the open. This used to trigger me after I had recently broken up with someone because I would think to myself, “Why can’t I have that?” either “I had that” or “I used to have that.” Today, all I could see in them was happiness, and I felt happiness for them. I held out hope that I would find the love I deserve when the moment and the person were right. I will be the source of my own happiness up until that point.
“Resilience” is now PUBLISHED!!!! Knowing yourself, your thought patterns, emotional reactions, and go-to behaviours, is the foundation of good mental and emotional health. This book will teach you when to step back, take a break, and make a change. It will share suggestions on how to let go of the old, unhelpful assumptions and take the leap. Any purchases or KDP reads will be greatly appreciated. If you like my books, do leave a review. Here’s my author page on Amazon – https://a.co/d/5Rr2D4n
