Does Your Life Feel Alien To You

on

Although this is my life, it no longer feels like it is mine.

My life is a puzzle that I’m depending on everyone else to put together. Everyone tries to make one of their parts fit; some people break off the tabs; some people disfigure the blank spaces; occasionally, things click; but nobody is really trying to match it up to the larger picture that I had in mind. My life is like a crossword puzzle with words that have been scratched out. Nobody is quite as anxious to check the words on my list off a line that runs horizontally, vertically or diagonally as everyone else is. My life is like a sudoku puzzle where everyone is scrambling to fit a number in without giving a damn about its placement or order.

My life is a crossword puzzle with letters scattered all over it, but no one really comprehended the helpful hints and coded messages that were left behind. My life is like a knob puzzle where everyone is trying to force shapes into various locations without looking for the ideal fit. Everyone is searching for the way out of my life’s maze, but nobody can get to the centre, where I’m waiting for company. Everyone has a different interpretation of the solution to the mystery that is my life, but no one can ever figure it out.

Everyone is eager to witness the intergalactic extravaganza that is my life’s supernova burst into flames, but nobody notices the collateral damage or what is destroyed as a result. Time is ticking away, and my life is a bomb. Everyone is anticipating an explosion, but I’m working to put it out before it destroys everything. My life is like a garden where the plants are being destroyed by too many hands. While the weeds are given more care than I’d like, the flowers are still left unwatered. But why must things be in this manner? Why did I allow others to take charge when I merely wanted to solve the problem on my own?

Listening to your heart while making choices can mean different things to different people. For some, it means tapping into their emotions and intuition to guide their decision-making process. For others, it means connecting with a higher power or spiritual force to seek guidance and clarity. Regardless of the interpretation, the idea is to trust your gut and follow your inner guidance when faced with tough decisions. This can lead to more authentic and fulfilling choices, as well as a deeper connection with oneself and the world around us. This book tells you how.
