When Will This Shit Be Over

on

So here you are, pleading with God, fate, or whatever you believe in to supply you with the answers to the issues that your life raises.

You still don’t understand that certain questions are impossible to resolve and that it takes a lifetime to hold them the way you were originally intended to. You’re familiar with words like sadness, anguish, and despair that express feelings you find difficult to put into words. You are aware that rock will always be eroded by flowing water, yet you still believe you are an exception. You are the only element capable of enduring the longest, darkest night and emerging undamaged. Of course, you are entirely mistaken.

That nebulous notion that suffering is a natural part of life is true in certain respects. What you don’t realise is that it also implies that you were endowed with the ability to experience the greatest joy and the most beautiful things. You’ve experienced an all-pervasive emotion at various times during your life. You felt as though you were unable to breathe, but not in the typical sense; rather, it was remarkable. You were in amazement and thought you were getting close to comprehending reality itself. Realising that every valley has a high. Humans may climb to greater heights in deeper trenches.

To put it another way, at your worst, you are a vanishing act. You close yourself off to everything that desires what is best for you, including the world, the present, and the current moment. You steer clear of eating establishments, mirrors, and breathing reminders. However, at your finest, you transcend conscious limitations. You embody all that is good love, light, beauty, and goodness. The night sky’s brightest star is you.

The only genuine query left is: Are moments of amazing beauty worth a lifetime of sorrow? You may exchange your current manner of existence for one with a gentler and simpler nature. You may give in to mediocrity and the status quo and eventually lose the sense of being an outsider on Earth. If you do, though, there is no turning back. You have been given the capacity to taste pure, unrestrained humanity. Will you exchange it for a life free from suffering?
