Guidelines for Creating New Beginnings from Life’s Endings

You must come up with a justification for stopping whenever you run out of reasons to keep going. Giving up and beginning anew in the correct way are quite different things. And there are three simple words that may set you free from the past and direct you in the direction of a happy new beginning. These words are: “Going forward…”
So going forward…
- Allow what you cannot control to happen. GO – The majority of the time, the things you think about constantly become a part of your life. Understand this. When you mentally and emotionally detach yourself from the negative things, good things will happen in your life. Make place for what feels good by letting go of what hurts. Keep what you can control apart from what is out of your control.
- Accept and embrace reality – On a typical day, life is straightforward. Everything that occurs is for you, not against you. Nothing occurs too early or too late; everything occurs at just the correct time. You get something else for every thing you lose, and you lose something else for every thing you gain. Even if you don’t have to enjoy it, it will be simpler if you do. So be mindful of your perspective on life. You have the choice to be sorry or happy.
- Change your perspective – Change, like breathing, is a process in and of itself. Truth be told, change is the only constant in life. And altering your perspective is the first step towards good transformation. Be ready for the good. Get ready for advancement and the “new.” Give the unknown permission to lead you to uncharted and novel parts of yourself. Change is necessary for growth. You cannot change anything in your life if you cannot alter your thinking. Sometimes all it takes is a fresh viewpoint to see something.
- Cling to the good things – When everyday problems throw you into a pit so deep that all you can see is darkness, don’t waste precious energy attempting to climb out. Instead, cling to the wonderful things. Because if you dig in the dark hurriedly, you’ll probably go in the incorrect way and merely make the trench deeper. Instead, exert what little strength you have left to reach out and draw something positive towards you. Since virtue is radiant, its light will help you find your way there by illuminating the road to go.
- Recharge – Being strong isn’t about carrying a cross of sorrow or embarrassment. In order to be strong, one must choose their course of action, accept the results, and pick up new skills along the road. Even when you try your hardest, things might still go wrong. Do not give up when this occurs. You made an effort. You can only truly ever do that. Your only failure was learning what not to do, not failing. Rest, refocus, and then start over with what you know now.
- Take the required risks – Trying something new or making a major life shift might be frightening. You know what’s scarier, though? Regret. Therefore, acknowledge that most of your anxieties are considerably more irrational than they are genuine. Don’t let them stop you since you’ll be able to witness this for yourself as soon as you confront them. Live your life so that you seldom ever have to look back and regret the opportunities missed, the love you never allowed in, and the treasures you never shared.
- Continue rising – Nobody who is on the mountain’s summit fell from the sky. People who put forth effort often reap the benefits. Every time you push yourself to achieve something you didn’t believe you could do, you acquire self-assurance and become stronger. Remember that you cannot appreciate the view over the long term without being prepared to climb at least a few tiny steps each day if you are in the position of indecision where you are unable or reluctant to go backwards yet too terrified to move forward.
- Recognise the lessons you’ve learned and give yourself credit for them. Just because you’ve had difficulties doesn’t imply you can’t succeed. To achieve success, one must make a worthwhile effort. Don’t forget to praise your progress and the lessons you’ve learnt. A year, a month, or even a week ago, you were not the same person you are now. Every encounter you have helps you learn and develop. So rather of letting them irritate you, channel your disappointments and frustrations into motivation. Keep in mind that you are in charge of how you react to today’s circumstances.
- Recognise that each step is important since hardly nothing in life is completely incorrect. Nearly every action we take teaches us something. Whatever it was that you performed earlier today was a prerequisite for tomorrow. So acknowledge your progress and be proud of yourself. Despite the fact that you may not yet be as great or as good as you would like to be, you have improved greatly through the years owing to all the lessons you have learnt.
