Surrendering to the flow of things.

Surrendering is something that most people avoid as it often means relinquishing control. Yet, paradoxically, many people who have learned to surrender have experienced incredible breakthroughs in both their personal and professional lives. In fact, surrendering to life’s uncertainties and recognising areas outside of oneself has been known to promote tremendous results.
Surrendering is the act of letting go of control, especially when we are faced with situations that are out of our control that causes anxiety, fear or frustration. Surrendering is not about giving up or quitting. Instead, it’s about accepting the reality of a situation and allowing life to unfold in its naturally unpredictable manner. It’s choosing, rationally and pragmatically, reprioritize output based on one’s value system through introspection, becoming deeply personal and exposing immanent needs.
Surrendering brings clarity of mind, by choosing to let go of worrying and finding control, it allows individuals to focus on the things that they do have control over their core values, setting appropriate boundaries and taking active steps to promote their well-being.
Surrendering is a great inner fortitude element for transformation as it helps us actively adjust when challenges seem insurmountable. When we surrender, we can recognize that we are not meant to control everything and that we can use our energy more effectively to adapt and take herculean actions towards a more desirable outcome.
Surrendering to the present mindset can build constructive positive emotions, through positive influence of how we decide to experience uncertain events, optimising our life choices when controlling factors are absent or applicable.
Finally, surrendering helps individuals understand that other issues posing a threat to personal values, beliefs in any given quality of life may present possible opportunities for growth. Adopting this mindset is to recognize small accomplishments and be grateful for the ability both to gain from failure or the fear of loss of “expected “outcomes.
In conclusion, surrendering may seem to challenge societal status quo by personal introspection. However, the goals of achieving internal discipline versus personal advancement, introspection, and intentional change built on guided decisions about our beliefs, fears, and desires help promote a more comprehensive emotional and cognitive stability fostering a sense of control over life, issues strength and clarity, positivity and grounded decision making, inspiring greater personal well being.

“…focus on the things that they do have control over their core values, setting appropriate boundaries and taking active steps to promote their well-being.” Surrendering to Life itself involves surrendering to life’s values and boundaries. Whatever results is for the benefit of Life itself, although it may seem counter to individual values at the time
